The Centaurs are a trio of cyborgs part of the Mythos team in Cyborg 009 BGOOParts Delete. In a sense, they are a continuation of the original Centaurs but do not have any letters to differentiate them, and have some other differences from before.
Appearance[]
As evident from their name, the Centaurs are three tall men with the lower bodies of horses. One has dark, spiked hair, while another has longer, light hair, and while the third has long, dark hair. Besides the obvious animalistic features, they stand out from normal humans due to their pointed ears and their entirely blank eyes.
As they are rather minor characters and mostly in the background, there is no other way to tell them apart besides those looks.
Personality[]
The three Centaurs are vicious, fight-happy sorts ready and willing to take down the 00 Cyborgs at whatever cost, wanting to be sure they themselves won't easily fall like the last battle.
When it comes to fighting the 00 team, the trio try to counter against 002, 006, and 007.
Abilities[]
Like before, the Centaurs have the abilities that horses would, but can also fly through the air and sky due to their thruster-powered hooves. They use these to their advantage in trying to attack the cyborgs from above.
History[]
These three particular men who became Centaurs were among a group of poor Greek citizens that willingly took the offer to become cyborgs, having been taken by the promise made by Dr. Gaia and Dr. Uranus that they could strike back against their oppressors.
Ultimately, the Centaurs would be used as part of the Mythos team to challenge the 00 Cyborgs on Magma, but were thought dead in the destruction of the island. They were in fact saved by Hera's teleportation abilities, and stored away by Gaia in hopes he could utilize them again some day in the future.
That day would come 50 years later, when the team was revived but would wind up encountering a version of the 00 Cyborgs who had traveled from another world specifically to find and wipe them out. This would initiate a "rematch" between the two teams, with the Centaurs participating and continuously being injured or killed only to be revived by Gaia's Zeus System. The Centaurs would tire of this, as would their fellow teammates, and would destroy the regeneration pods.
The three ultimately died due to the attacks of the robots Athena and Ares, burning to death with the rest of their team.
